| Specialty Mechanical Services, Inc. can handle all of your plant millwright needs. This particular project was for a car stamping manufacturer that turned to SMS for its knowledge and quality when it comes to equipment rigging and steel fabrication and installation for its manufacturing needs. We were responsible for the installation of all conveying systems and associated steel fabrication. This particular conveying system was a metal scrap conveyor consisting of a metal tracking belt with approximately 600 feet of continuous chain. Due to the various elevations changes several hundred feet of this conveyor had to be installed in a underground tunnel connecting two buildings. Over our 20 plus years of millwright work we are accustomed to coordinating with the manufacturer the field installation for a successfully end product. | |||||
